Re: Simmer Style 2026
Ils ont déjà deux, voire trois gammes wave si on inclut la nouvelle Omnia, ce serait (encore) une nouvelle gamme ?
Re: Simmer Style 2026
Bonne question, un début de réponse ?
(Ola.H) The new one is based on a new rocker we work on with Marc Paré. More center curve and a very fast tail, similar to Omnia, but in contrast to the Omnia this one has v up front and a single with a double in it in the back.
The Fly, which is arguably the best liked wave board on the market, both radical and easy, has kind of a constant rocker curve with a v throughout and some double with the v configured to give a bit more rail rocker towards the tail. But when Marc came back (and had obviously developed his wave sailing) he felt the Fly rocker was kind of braking a bit in hard front foot turns. So he wanted more curve in the center to give the whole bottom a more wing foil like flow (more curve in the entry, less in the trailing part). This coincides with what I have been doing for many years for my own boards and in fact also with the rocker on the original Simmer Fly.
