The Nuevo is definitely the board more innovative range of wave 2013. It is different from any other table and is only 224 cm long. Designed and built by James Hooper in Australia, Nuevo has a setup Twinzer fins that are much more spaced out and the rail, such as surf boards. The soft, rounded rails, flat deck combined to derive also from the shape of the surf, making it the perfect board for those riders who want to experience a pure feeling of riding.

The Futura are Starboard’s freerace boards. Freerace boards are designed to go extremely fast, like slalom boards, but with more user-friendliness and more comfort. They are the sports cars of windsurfing.

Introduced in 2008 the Futura’s revolutionary design redifined the freerace category and offers a board very stable at low speed tet extremely fast and powerful throughout an incredibly wide wind range. In addition to the the tinner shape makes for better jibing and more control.

In 2011, the Futuras won every conparative test in entered: the Planchemag test, the Wind Magazine test, the Windsurf magazine test, the Boards/Boardseeker test and the Surf magazine test. On top of that in 2012 the Futura won the Wind Top Choice award for the second year in a row.

For 2013, Starboard offers the Futura in six sizes and two technology options, all of the with new cut-away shapes designed to release more top end speend and squeeze even more efficient acceleration in the gusts.
