Depuis 2 ans ct un velcro bien large et costaud avec un anneau en inox et là grrrrrrrrr tu marches dessus en bing et le pire la sangle qui en vieillissement va durcir et prendre la forme !!! style le serrage de nos harnais qui est dur à desserrer !!! alors que là faut la retirer en plus !!!
et 90 euros en + je vais demander le divorce

I sailed for the first time with the new Vapor 7,1 at Kanaha 2 days ago. I already tryed the 8,6 and 7,9 at home.

The sail fell much more lighter than last year and more equlibred! So It was nice combo with manta 71 even on 15 knots only. I sailed 2 hours on it and did some video footage for a short clip to come. It was fun, Micah was there and we did some quick runs together.

First pwa event is in 2 months so I have time to tune all my gear but it seems to be much more easy than last year: Tabou Manta are already working great, I know my fins, and Vapor are on the same direction than last year but with more low end, easier to ride and less heavier.. So all good!

We took images of the 9,5 m Gaastra Vapors of 2011/2012 to show the differences in design. The larger slalom sizes were designed with higher aspect ratio outlines,meaning longer luff/shorter boom which should provide for better low end, earlier planning, better high end and limitless top end control. The smaller sizes of the Vapor were kept almost the same as last years sails in terms of luff and boom dimensions because focus is more weighted towards control in high winds and rough water conditions. However ALL the new sails have new luff curves and shaping. The draft moved forward und a bit lower . Gaastra also claims decreased weight on all sails , we checked on that also ;-)
All 2012 Vapors are compatible with previous years masts .
Formula sizes got an extra outer clew position for a possibility of giving extra power in very light wind conditions.
