Seb is the new record holder of France and Europe with 55.49, he held the outright for 1 hour before Rob Douglas did 55.65.
Fabrice the time keeper has checked these speeds, but not the WSSRC yet.
Demands of speed records under sail, are subject to the official ratification by ISAF/WSSRC.
Alex is 3rd with 54.93
Charlotte Consorti did 48.5 on the display, followed 30 minutes later by Sophie with the same speed.
Charlotte went back out later and did 50.43. The first lady over 50 !!!
Sophie's speed was 48.64; she could only do 3 runs has her hand was in agony as it's broken.
So our speeds are: she: 50,43 and me: 48,64

The wind was 45 kts max, organization decides to close the run to keep the water as a reservoir because of the low tide. Very clever, records were smashed!
1st to 55 kts : Sébastien Cattelan, french competitor and organizer: New french and european record with 55,49 kts.
Rob Douglas better that afterwards with 55,65 kt.

2 french girls were battle around 48 kts and Charlotte Consorti did 50,43 (Demands of speed records under sail, subject to the official ratification by ISAF/WSSRC), on her last run. Sophie Routaboul kept her 48,64 couldn t do nothing more with her hand she broke at the end of the 1st week of the event.
New south african record with Basil Cambanis : 50,75 kts (Demands of speed records under sail, subject to the official ratification by ISAF/WSSRC)
New Solvinian record of 46,60 kts for jernej Privsek
4th Seb Salerno had 54,28 kts FRA
5th Sylvain Hoceini had 52,90 kts FRA
Taro Niehaus had 50,59, Previous SA record holder at 50,60

Sébastien Cattelan est le nouveau détenteur du record de France et Europe avec 55.49 nds
les vitesses n'ont pas encore été vérifié parle le WSSRC.
