"Neil Pryde Windsurfing is pleased to announce that the RS:X colored mono-film sails are now available on the open market making them class legal for use in RS:X Olympic Windsurfing regattas worldwide.

Tests have shown that these colored sails are much more visible on the water than the old grey mono-film versions. This makes for a more attractive spectacle for the media and spectators.

The grey monofilm panel on the 9.5 sail has been changed to yellow and on the 8.5 sail has been changed to red. It should be noted that nothing else has been changed in the construction of the sails so the difference is purely cosmetic."
