Hello

Sorry for the language, we do not speak french in Argentina so I'm not used to it.

The question:

Anyone heard about or has used this kind of foil fins?

https://cruzfin.jimdo.com/quillas-foil/

A local fin manufacturer is selling these at pretty good price.
He States the following:

-Makes board plan earlier
-Makes board keep planing with less wind.
-Reduces a lot chop feeling on board.
-eliminates any spin out.

Talked to manufacturer but still not sure what to beleive.
If anyone had experience with someting like this I would really appreciate his comments.
I vave an i-sonic 110 lts, a atom-iq 140 lts, a Jp Superlightwind 165 lts and a formula Statrboard wood 160 LTS. and 5 slalom sails from 4 to 9,3 mts.

Thank you

I've tried one. It does get you planing slightly earlier but it is very draggy and slow. You need to sail a bit differently putting more downward pressure on the fin and concentrating on the optimal board angle so that you don't lift the nose and cause the foil to plough through the water and cause more drag. It's only really useful if there is no way you could plane with a normal fin.
