Re: Transferts des pros 2013
Gonzalo Costa Hoevel joins Loftsails in 2013.
We are very proud to announce that Gonzalo Costa Hoevel joins Loftsails in 2013 ! Formula windsurfing and slalom expert, ...ARG 3 makes big changes in 2013 as he changes sponsors and home ! Gonzalo decided to live closer to the action and move to the Loftsails home, Tarifa.
Actually in a windsurf trip in Argentina (http://www.heading-south.net/), Gonzalo shared his first experiences on the Racing Blade:
“My first impressions were in Buenos Aires with the 8.6 at the Rio de la Plata. A river with a lot of sediments where the water is brown. I went out with it on barely planning conditions and to my surprise the sail planes extremely quick. A couple of effortless pumps and the sail puts you right into plane.
After that I was very surprised on its acceleration..it seems that in no time you are on your top speed.
This was the first day of my trip through Argentina with Marco Lang so we had to go downwind for some 10 kms to shoot in front of the city. I was there and back in no time with a big smile, very easy to point up even in low winds.
My next experience was with the 7.0 in Cuesta del Viento, 1400 kms from Buenos Aires.
As well my first impression was that the sail is super easy. The wind was from 25 in the morning picking up to 43 they sais at the beach…doubt that more like 35 at the most..but still I manage to stay on the 7.
Off to Bariloche and the Calafate (where the glaciers are) we had to do some heavy upwinds to shoot and some special spots, and going for 1 and half hours upwind with this sails is just cruising…I was getting to the shooting spots a lot earlier and almost with no effort…I am supper happy with them and I am looiking forward to get to Tarifa to join the team to train!!!!!”

Re: Transferts des pros 2013
The Loft Sails are happy to announce that Israeli freestyle expert Yarden Meir joins our international team for 2013!
Yarden was ranked 11th PWA in 2011 after 6 events that year.
Last year Yarden could not compete due to an injury that kept him out of the competition season. He is back in 2013 with Loftsails, and targets the podiums on the PWA. Yarden is currently training in Vietnam for 2 months preparing a new action movie.
We wish Yarden a great 2013 season !
